I Concur

My folks had a party on Saturday (something about Mommy slipping the chains of grad school?), and one of their good friends (and wonderful chef!), Bridgette, brought hummus:

I agree somewhat with my friend Helen's assessment, but wonder if she's ever tried hummus on a carrot. Seems to make a difference.

Dear Liev,
Clearly you are a man of refinement who appreciates texture, and color, as well as taste in food. We'll work on 'spitting' so you can more definitively express your preferences. By the way, the carrots with hummus go particularly well with a vintage '08 Lait de Sein.

Dear Liev,

Welcome to the hummus club! I now know it as "dip-dip." Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me cause now I like it. I prefer it on peppers. But, watch out for those peppers! When I had them at 11 mos, Mommy had to change 5 diapers in the middle of the night. In Denver. Without Daddy.

I actually think the first hummus I tried (homemade by Daddy) had too much lemon in it for me. But, the store bought stuff seems just fine!

Counting down the days until your first birthday!

love,
Helen/Jan

Oh.. I forgot!

No, I haven't tried it on a carrot. Mommy doesn't think I'm good enough of a chewer yet to hand me carrots. But... maybe I could just LICK the hummus off? Or, maybe I can get it all over my fingers and then suck my fingers? Hmmmm... we'll see!
