Sure, I've been verbal for a while now. I've been tossing around a few syllables, often remarking, "Dah" when I see the dog or Daddy, but I haven't really said any particular syllable with enough regularity or precision to have it identified as an actual word. That all changed this week:
That's right, woof! Why woof? So my parents can plague me with stories about it for years to come.
Congratulations Liev ! You've uttered your first word ( an awesome feat) and created a Schiffman tradition at the same time: "first words being in the animal... group". Your Dad's first word was fly, as in the insect ( we were living in a cheap rental). Once you get the first word out, the rest just seem to flow on their own. Looking forward to having many conversations with you. Love Grandma & Grandpa
So Liev, tell me your thinking on the U.S. economic downturn. While you are organizing your thoughts, I will suggest that the 'rents would really love (and appreciate, if you know what I mean) having their titles worked into the conversation. The same idea works for Gam-ma and Gam-pa too!. Much love, Gam-ma and Gam-pa
