Gender Equality

I learned today that Daddy is good for more than diaper changes and snuggles. Turns out, he makes milk, too! Whoa. It comes out of this strange contraption that reminds me of my pacifier, but it tastes basically the same as Mommy's milk.

Hm. If I knew anything about gender roles, I'd have to rethink my societally informed assumptions.

Isn't life grand. You've now experienced the American Free Market system where open competition (and the advent of the breast pump) allows you a choice of where you'd like to dine. I know that sometimes that choice will be difficult, but it's ok to have more than one "favorite place". Enjoy the ambiance and remember to take good care of your server!

P.S. If you want to brush up on gender roles and society maybe Dad will read to you from one of his reference books. I hear they make a great bedtime story.

Dearest Liev,
Be sure that Mom always receives her credit. Dad, due to certain (ahem) physical limitations, is more like the Starbucks of breast milk. With that said, it is good to know that "if he could, he would".
Wait until you discover the ability to dunk cookies.
Love,
Grandpa and Grandma
